After the long-awaited birth of a panda cub in Chiang Mai zoo (Bangkok), people in Thailand have gone totally panda-crazy. That’s why these five elephants painted as pandas were led before schoolchildren in Ayutthaya province on July 26. The main goal of this action was to show public that elephant is a symbolic animal of Thailand and not only pandas, but the elephants have their needs too.
